Updated Notice for all Club Members

Posted 05/08/2020

TUESDAY 4th AUGUST 2020

Social Bowls:

I would like to thank all social bowlers for their support with regard to the necessary method of serving tea and coffee during the Wednesday, Friday and Saturday games.  With your help, this has worked very well.

 Friday Night Dinners:

As previously advised, tea and coffee is no longer available.

Seated drinking/dining only, inside and outside a licensed venue will be in force from midnight, Tuesday 4th August.  This is a SA Government directive and effectively means no member is permitted to stand at the bar and drink.

Trace Records:

We have been advised the authorities are visiting Clubs and will be required to provide trace records on request. Our records are being kept for:

  • Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Social Bowls
  • Tuesday Indoor Bowls
  • Friday Night dinners

Visitor Book:

A visitor book will be kept permanently at the entry door for all visitors to sign in.  This will include any member coming to the Club who is not involved in any of the above events where trace records are being kept.

 Entry/Exit doors:

Members are requested to enter the Clubroom via the main automatic sliding door and exit via the centre automatic sliding or the door from the foyer. Large ENTRY ONLY and EXIT ONLY signs will be placed on the doors as a reminder.

Hand Sanitisers:

I am currently sourcing hands-free sanitiser dispensers, but they may not be delivered until mid August.

A second hand sanitising stand will be delivered in the next day or so and be placed inside the Clubroom by the centre auto sliding door.

Members are reminded of the importance of adhering to the strict guidelines with regard to using the hand sanitisers that are provided, for the health and wellbeing of us all.

Club Equipment:

As previously advised, club equipment, including bowls and bowling arms are not available for loan.

Please note:  The Board of Management will continue to do whatever is deemed necessary to keep members safe and the Club functioning so we can continue to enjoy our day on the green and the social side of Club activities.

Kind Regards,

Nola Manuel
