COVID CONTRACT TRACING OBLIGATIONS:
The SA Police Commissioner has today announced a crackdown on businesses and patrons failing to abide by the COVID “check in” process when entering a venue.
Everyone is now well versed in that every person who enters a venue such as a Club, must check in using the QR Code system, or if this isn’t possible, then a “manual” check in is required.
“Operation Trace” will begin today where plainclothes police officers will be patrolling venues to ensure that firstly venues are making every effort to ensure patrons are checking in, and secondly that the patrons themselves are doing so.
As the fines for non-compliance are significant, ($5,090 for Clubs and $1,090 for patrons), we will make sure members are provided with the appropriate facilities to check in each time when entering the Club.
All COVID Marshals need to be aware of their responsibilities, so please support them as they are doing what is asked of them. If there is any spread of this virus, we do not want the Hope Valley Bowling Club to be linked to it.
