Coaching at Hope Valley Bowling Club

The HVBC Pennant Coach for the 2023-24 season is Marc Pickworth (0425 175 482). Marc has overall coaching responsibility for pennant bowling strategy, inclusive of individual and team coaching.

The Club has four additional coaches, all of whom hold a current National Level 1 Accreditation. The coaches are available by arrangement for individual coaching upon request.

The coaches, in conjunction with the Pennant Coach, facilitate and oversee weekly practice/training sessions (see training/practice session times below).

Free Sunday Coaching sessions, subject to appropriate weather and availability of greens, are also conducted each Sunday morning from 10 am to 12 noon. Any Club or prospective members can attend though it is particularly recommended and helpful for new bowlers. No booking is required.

Tuesday from 10:00am – 12:00 noon.

Men

Tuesday from 2:00pm – 3:30am.

Open Gender (mixed)

Friday from 4.00pm – 5.30pm.
