Updated Notice for all Club Members

Posted 27/07/2020

MONDAY 27th JULY 2020

COMMUNAL POINTS FOR FOOD AND DRINK:

Wednesday, Friday & Saturday Social Bowls:

We have received advice from Clubs SA that any communal points for food/drink are currently not permitted.  This of course, impacts on our afternoon tea on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday social days.  I will arrange for a willing volunteer to help serve tea and coffee and clean up during the afternoon tea break on these days.

  • Used coffee cups and spoons are to be placed on the kitchen servery bench and only designated persons are to go into the kitchen.
  • One person only will serve pies and pasties.

If this proves to be unworkable, tea, coffee, pies and pasties will no longer be provided, and members will need to supply their own refreshments.

 Indoor Bowls:

The conditions as above will also apply to Tuesday Indoor bowls. One person is to make and serve coffee and tea and wash cups in the dishwasher. If this is not possible, tea and coffee will not be available.

 Friday Night Dinners:

Tea and coffee will no longer be available for Friday night dinners.

HAND SANITISERS:

Members are reminded of the importance of adhering to the strict guidelines with regard to using the hand sanitisers that are provided for the health and wellbeing of us all.  We can only keep our members and Club safe if we all obey the rules.

EQUIPMENT:

Club equipment, including bowls and bowling arms are not available for loan.

*** Please note: The Board of Management is obliged to put in place whatever guidelines are deemed necessary to keep members safe and the Club functioning so we can all continue to enjoy our day on the green and the social side of Club activities.

Best wishes to you all.
