NOTICE FOR ALL HOPE VALLEY BOWLING CLUB MEMBERS
RENOVATION OF ‘A’ GREEN
The Club is preparing to rebuild ‘A’ Green, ie the green at the northern end of our premises (adjacent to the playground). Work is scheduled to commence on Monday, 1st Dec ’25, with the timeframe for completion approximately 3 weeks.
Almost 1700 ton of soil will be removed and replaced, with entry/exit for vehicles via the emergency gate on Leonis Avenue.
During this period, members need to be aware of the increased traffic through the carpark and pay attention to their own safety and that of others, whilst moving through the carpark. Parking will be very limited with little or no access to parking past the main entrance to the clubroom.
Visiting clubs will be advised of the construction and limited parking being available.
We are aware of the inconvenience this work may cause, but the aim is for Hope Valley Bowling Club to have two greens of the best playing surface possible, which will allow us to host State events and Pennant finals and attract very good players to the Club.
