Hope Valley has 2 teams in Division 5 North in the Saturday competition. The Men’s committee has directed the selectors to rate these teams as equal i.e. to select them as an 8 rink side.
The reasons for this include:
- They are in the same division
- Both are subject to the club rotation policy
It is expected that all rinks will be as far as possible equal in experience and ability. This will give all players the opportunity to play finals should they be successful. All players will have equal opportunity for promotion to the 3rd side.
It is also expected that at most, players will be rotated out no more than two times throughout the season. In fact, taking into account player absences in the last couple of seasons it is possible that players will miss only 1 game.
