- All players are selected by the selection panel. The report selector is a nominated selector for collecting reports on individual sides and is not responsible for selection of that side.
- No player selected in the top side for either the Wednesday or Thursday pennant competition will be subject to rotation on a Saturday.
- Any player selected on merit for promotion to a higher side will be guaranteed 2 games in their new side.
- Any player demoted at selection due to form, will be placed in the next lower division side for a minimum of 2 weeks, and will not be eligible to be selected as a reserve during those 2 weeks.
- Any player who misses 2 or more consecutive games will have the reason for their absence taken into consideration at their next selection meeting and may be placed in a lower side than where they previously played.
- Players are required to complete a rating slip after each game. Guidelines for completing the rating slip can be found in the “Latest News”.
- Reserves will be nominated for each side. The reserves will not be listed in any order. Each may be selected based on the skills and experience required to fill the vacated position.
- Any player who has a complaint concerning selection, or other issues within their team, must not approach their report selector, but must make their complaint to the Chairman of Selectors. (Keith Knipe – Wednesday pennants, and Chris Parry – Saturday pennants)
- No player is to approach the Chairman of Selectors (or any Report Selector) concerning any complaint or other selection issue they may have, on any game day until after all games have been finished.
- If any player is unsatisfied about the way their complaint has been handled, they should then approach the Men’s President – Ken Seymour.
